A Book About Life
By Antoinette Bender
Copyright 1991 Antoinette Bender
The chapters of life continue.

When you stop to think,
a number is just like age.
It's a book with each passing page
called "A Book About Life."
Some books are short,
some books are long.
It also teaches us
what's right from wrong.

A chapter unfolds,
with each passing day.
You're left in a mystery
from ever what come may.
When you turn to the very last page,
it's time when Almighty God calls.
Then you realize how fast life goes,
when "The Book About Life" draws to a close.

Then a new chapter begins,
starting life for all eternity
in glorious heaven,
with Our Father, God Almighty.
