Amy at the Circus
By Jay Albrecht
Copyright 2000 Jay Albrecht
A poem about a six-year old girl's fun at the circus.

She starts with giggles
at Charlie, the clown.
Hoots as he clumps about
on enormous feet, beating
his sidekick with candy canes.
Shrieks her six-year-old love
when he pokes her ribs
with one hugely-loving glove.
